613 Music Academy is proud to announce the launch of a new Virtual Jewish Music Teaching Program.
This program is designed for women who have a deep passion for music and want to transform that passion into their parnasa. There are so many students eager to learn music — and growing interest in bringing meaningful music education into our community.
Music education is Torah.
From Miriam HaNeviah, who took her tambourine and led the women in song, to the musicians who served in the Beis HaMikdash, music has always been an essential part of our avodas Hashem. Through the sacred words of King David, whose Tehillim continue to carry the prayers and praises of the Jewish people, we see how deeply music is woven into our spiritual identity.
Music is creation — an act in this world that brings us closer to experiencing Hashem here on earth.
Our schools work hard to provide strong Torah foundations, and this program is designed to complement that foundation by cultivating skilled music educators within our community. As interest in private lessons and enrichment continues to grow, we have a beautiful opportunity to train women who can confidently step into this role.
Being a music teacher or performer also beautifully complements motherhood. Teaching music allows you to:
Create your own flexible schedule
Build a studio that can ebb and flow with different seasons of life
Work during hours that fit your family’s needs
Be present for your children while still building meaningful parnasa
As life changes — whether welcoming a new baby, adjusting school schedules, or navigating different stages of motherhood — your studio can grow, pause, expand, or shift with you. It is a career path that respects and supports the central role of motherhood while allowing your talents to shine.
With this program, you will learn how to:
Build a strong foundation in music education
Develop the skills and confidence to teach professionally
Create and grow your own private music lesson studio
Pass on your knowledge and inspire the next generation
Together, we can nurture Jewish music education, strengthen our connection to Hashem through song, and empower women to turn their talent into meaningful, sustainable parnasa — all while honoring the beautiful rhythm of family life.
